Starting September 2022, I was appointed the Deputy Head of Design for Cardiff University's award-winning magazine, Quench. Applying for this role was something completely out of my comfort zone considering I have ABSOLUTELY NO design experience. Nevertheless, I wanted to broaden my horizons and understand the magazine publishing process from a visual perspective. This section charts my learning curve as I navigate through Adobe InDesign to learn this new skill.
